Australia is a vast, sunny, intellectual gulag. But why?

Another reason why I want to move overseas,

I’m reading a book about Simone de Beauvoir and Sartre, it would be fucking amazing to get to read thinkers like that in a daily newspaper or weekly magazine,

I find it soothing to spend my spare time following my thoughts down the path of “what if…” and coming up with sci-fi story ideas, it’s really only sci-fi in the way that it could only happen in an imaginary future,

I think that creating things in my mind - photos, paintings, stories, music, poems, ect, ect - makes me feel creative and productive and also helps distract me from hopping on to the negative thought train to anxietytown,

I have so much uni to do and I’m trying really, really hard not to stress about it.

I figure that I have to do the work anyway and it’s going to take the same amount of time whether or not I stress.

So I may as well do myself a favour and get over the panic so my head’s clear for next 24 hours until I hand my 3 pieces of assessment in.

I’m looking forward to 25 hours from now when my head will be very cloudy thanks to various substances…
